Amniotic Membrane

Prokera is an FDA-approved biologic made from amniotic membrane, used to treat severe dry eye, corneal ulcers, recurrent erosions, and other ocular surface diseases. It promotes healing, reduces inflammation, and protects the eye while relieving pain.

Blepharoexfoliation

BlephEx is an in-office treatment for blepharitis and dry eye that gently removes bacteria and debris from the eyelid margins, reducing inflammation and improving overall eye comfort.

Digital Phoropter

Instead of manual phoropters that are ancient, the Heights Eye Studio Experience utilizes a digital phoropter to obtain the most accurate prescription. This phoropter was engineered for high quality and reliability in order to increase speed and efficiency in your refraction. Dynamic Muscle Stimulation and RadioFrequency

OptiLift™ combines TriLift’s advanced radiofrequency microneedling with dynamic muscle stimulation (DMS) to lift and tone facial muscles, smooth fine lines, and tighten skin—no surgery or downtime required. By improving circulation and reducing inflammation around the eyes, it also supports healthier tear production and provides relief for dry eye symptoms.

iCare Tonometer

The iCare tonometer measures eye pressure quickly and comfortably without the need for air puffs or numbing drops. It’s a gentle, accurate tool used to screen for glaucoma and monitor eye health.

Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

OCT - Maestro2

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging test that uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina. These measurements help with the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of retinal diseases and conditions, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye disease.

Instead of opticians obtaining manual measurements, Heights Eye Studio utilizes the OptikamPad to digitally enhance frame and lens measurements. This will allow us to dispense the best visual experience. The customized measurements we are now able to obtain include

Retinal Imaging

Instead of the dreaded dilation drops that sting and have side effects of blurry vision and light sensitivity, the Heights Eye Studio experience includes an overall check of the health of your eyes with the new Optomap Daytona. This new piece of state-of-the-art equipment allows us to obtain a 200-degree digital picture of the retina (back of the eye) in order to aid in diagnosing eye diseases. Many asymptomatic eye problems can be found with a quick Optomap photo including retinal holes, retinal tears, retinal detachments, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and hypertensive (high blood pressure) retinopathy. The Optomap pictures will also be a part of your permanent record on your file, allowing us to compare images a year to year to look for changes.

The Optomap Daytona captures a 200-degree ultra-widefield image of your retina in seconds, allowing us to detect early signs of eye diseases like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration—often before symptoms appear—for timely, proactive care.

Radio Frequency (RF)

RF delivers controlled heat to stimulate collagen production, tighten skin, and improve tissue elasticity. It also warms and unclogs meibomian glands, enhancing oil flow to stabilize the tear film and relieve dry eye symptoms.

SmoothGlo’s dual approach combines IPL and radiofrequency microneedling to reduce pigmentation, boost hydration, and stimulate collagen. This gentle, non-invasive treatment tightens and smooths skin with minimal downtime and lasting, cumulative results.

Topographer

Corneal Topographer uses advanced imaging technology to map the surface curvature of your cornea with remarkable accuracy. This quick, non-invasive scan detects irregularities, guides contact lens fittings, and supports precise treatment planning for clearer vision and optimized eye health.

Visual Field

Virtual Field is a visual field test performed using a VR headset. It accurately detects peripheral vision loss from conditions like glaucoma and retinitis pigmentosa, as well as central vision loss due to macular degeneration or medications such as Plaquenil and hydroxychloroquine.
