Dr. Jessica Nguyen

Dr. Jessica is a Houston native who knew from a young age that she wanted to become an optometrist. As a -6.00 myope herself, she has a personal understanding of the importance of caring for your eyes and vision.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. During her clinical training, she gained experience in medical eye care, ocular surface disease, specialty contact lenses, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and pediatric eye care. She was also recognized with multiple Clinical Letters of Excellence during her time at UHCO.

Dr. Jessica has a special interest in dry eye and ocular surface disease, as well as myopia control. She is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy eyes while providing personalized care for every stage of life.

Outside of the office, Dr. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She stays active with Pilates and weightlifting, loves trying new restaurants around Houston, and enjoys going to basketball games.

Fun fact: She's left-handed!
